On Photography

A picture is famously worth thousand words. It needs no translation. You interpret it in your own way and that interpretation will change over time.
Just because you speak a language and can write, that does not make you a novelist.
There are roughly as many photographers now as there were a generation ago.
More noise has made it simultaneously easier and harder to stand out.
All perfect images are the same!
All imperfect images are imperfect in their own way.
As HCB said: sharpness is a bourgeois concept.
